Inland Real Estate, a global real estate owner and developer, awarded Rosewood Commercial’s design and build team an extensive exterior facelift to a devastated multi-building shopping center in Harvey, LA.

The center included three buildings, one partially completed per a previous contractor installation, and two that had extensive damage to facades, roofs and curtain walls from the Katrina storm. Rosewood Commercial’s scope of work included complete site work installations re-grading, extensive site work demolition and re-grading / compactions, concrete parking lots with specified islands, sidewalks around two of the buildings, and a new parkway entry to the complex.

The front of the main building required a new roof, façade canopy and storefronts. The second building was in dire need of extensive storefront replacements, sidewalks and façade re-work. The third building needed extensive site work removal and the removal of an addition that was previously started with foundations and grade beams. All in all, the center required an extensive facelift to facilitate the ability for re-leasing.

Upon completion of the new entry parkway, all buildings became accessible and leasing and tenant occupancy moved forward with great momentum. Inland commended Rosewood Commercial on a job well done and stated “the project earned a top notch on the belt of the talented team at Rosewood Commercial.”
